Discover beautiful, sustainable landscapes and gather ideas for your own yard during the FFL Home Garden Tour.
The tour begins at 9:00 AM at the Brevard Discovery Garden, 3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, where Brevard County Urban Horticulture Agent Sally Scalera will provide a brief introduction to the nine Florida-Friendly Landscaping Principles and lead a guided tour of the Brevard Discovery Garden.
Participants then embark on a self-guided driving tour of five private home gardens belonging to Brevard County Master Gardener Volunteers in Merritt Island, Rockledge, and Satellite Beach, featuring native plants, butterfly and pollinator habitats, edible food forests, rainwater harvesting, wildlife-friendly practices, and water-wise gardening.
Each participant receives a Florida-Friendly Landscaping handbook. The registration fee is $20 per person and advance registration is required. Attendance is limited to 40 participants.
